Queen's Water
Derived from an ancient recipe, The Queen of Hungary's Water, comes this botanically infused facial toner. Crafted with organic herbs and flowers to help tone and balance the complexion. Balanced with ACV an witch hazel to naturally tone, restore, and balance the skin's PH level.
Personally, I have been using this before applying makeup or serums instead of an alcohol based toner and I am quite happy with the results!
Mist anywhere on the face or body (avoiding the eyes) to refresh the skin. This toner is especially refreshing on hot, sticky days and can be used as an after sun spritz or refresher after long, cold winter days.
This blend is also designed to help balance oily or acne prone skin. To soothe or astringe problematic areas, wet a cotton round with water, apply a few aprays of water, and apply to skin with gentle upward motions.
The herbal composition of the Queen's Water is a wonderful astringent for all skin types. It gently tones, tightens pores, soothes itchy or acne-prone skin, normalizes the skin’s pH, smooths the skin texture and protects it. The potent blend of ingredients also make it a superb hair rinse.
But the Queen of Hungary's Water may also be one of the most controversial beauty products in history. Claims about its origins range from the perfume-tonic having been given to Queen Elizabeth of Hungary (1305-1380), either by a monk, a court alchemist, or a band of roaming gypsies.
It’s believed that the recipe for Hungary water remains written by the queen’s own hand, in golden alphabet, in the Imperial Library at Vienna. And that’s what the people of Hungary, who call upon this tonic water for everything from acne and eczema to headaches and indigestion.
